My Service Area is mainly East and Central Oakland & Piedmont. But for the right dog I may be open to other areas so please reach out. Priority for open spots in the pack are given to clients seeking 4 to 5 days of weekly pack adventures.
Includes: 60 minute off leash pack walk at a steady but fun pace. Your pup will be out of the house for about 2-3.5 hours in total. They will enjoy a grand sniffari and romp with their new best friends and return tired and happy. These socializing group walks will stimulate and exercise your pup at a local trail, beach or park. While you are busy your dog will be living their best life!
*Pack Walks are Monday through Friday only
*All pack members have a tracking device attached which I provide for safety and piece of mind.
*Pack Walks happen between 9am and 4pm
*Big Perk of being a pack member is that you get priority in boarding services & a discounted boarding rate

In Home Dog Boarding

I offer crate free boarding for well socialized, non aggressive dogs (who ideally have recently practiced time apart from their family) in East Oakland.
While you are out of town your pup will feel at home with my GIANT grassy backyard, cozy home, dog beds, treats, toys & snuggles. Your pup will receive plenty of attention, enrichment and one on one interaction not offered by a large boarding facility. I also send pictures and videos directly to you every other day as well as honest feedback about their temperament and behavior.
New boarding clients are required to
(1) complete a paid trial night (while you are still in town) before any reservations can be confirmed. This means I cannot accommodate any last minute bookings for new clients. A trial night helps create less anxiety for your pup when they return for the actual stay. A trial night also allows me to make sure they are the right fit.
(2) Email proof of vaccination to EarthGirlDogWalker@gmail.com
(3) Boarding spots are limited so I require a deposit of half of the boarding fee to hold the reservation slot. This deposit is non-refundable a week before the first day of the reservation during non-holiday stays. I typically board 0 to 4 dogs year round. We have tons of fun and typically go for daily hikes of a half hour or more.
My Pet = One neutered male Basset Hound mix who LOVES all dogs & people. He is 2 years old.
*Holidays = For major Holidays the reservation deposit is non-refundable two weeks before the first day of the stay. I typically have 3 to 7 dogs boarding during high demand holidays. Please note a one time additional $20 holiday fee is added for boarding on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and New Years Day.
*I charge by the night and the last day of the reservation incurs a half day charge for any pickups past noon
*I am closed the week of 4th of July annually and don’t offer boarding for that week.
*For stays of two weeks or more I offer a $5 a night discount.
*All boarding pups have a tracking device attached to them that I provide for safety and piece of mind. I also have cameras installed.
*I have experience with dogs with medical conditions which require injections, administering medication, as well as senior and shy dogs.
*I do not offer discounted rates for multiple dogs from the same family.
